Sean Ward has extensive experience in IT and project management within the fast-food and retail industries. Roles include serving as Deployment Lead and Project Manager at McDonald's Europe Ltd. from August 2013 to January 2016, where responsibilities included the deployment of a new POS/Back office solution across approximately 20 European markets. Prior positions include Senior Manager IT at EIPC (Subway), IT Project Manager at Ladbrokes, and various project and IT management roles at Yum! Brands. Sean returned to McDonald's in 2021 as Senior Manager - Global Technology Solutions Lead for Latin America, focusing on technology alignment and standardization. Additionally, Sean has held titles such as Senior Manager - Global Technology Solutions and Deployment Lead for Europe and Latin America, successfully leading system integration for home delivery across multiple European markets. During a tenure at McDonald's Corporation from January 2016 to August 2019, Sean managed the deployment of POS/Kiosk enhancements across Europe, played a key role in opening the Kazakhstan market, and contributed to the Experience of the Future (EOTF) initiative across the region.
