Billie Snyder McConkey currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Chief People Officer, as well as Senior Vice President of Legal & People at McClatchy, a position held since March 2015. Previous roles at McClatchy include Employment Counsel from 2006 to 2015. Billie has a history of working in labor relations, having served as Special Labor Counsel at Knight Ridder from 2000 to 2006 and as Vice President at Central Newspapers, Inc. from 1998 to 2000. Billie holds a Juris Doctor degree from West Virginia University College of Law, attained between 1992 and 1995.
