Richard Cochrane is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and rail industries. Starting as an Electrical Design Engineer and Avionics and Electrical Engineer at Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group from September 2004 to April 2013, Richard later transitioned to Airbus as an Aircraft Electrical Engineer from January 2008 to June 2010, contributing to the production of the Airbus A380. Richard also worked as a Rolling Stock Electrical Engineer at Alstom in June 2010, and from March 2016 to June 2019, served at MBDA as Interconnects Technical Lead, Interconnects Technical Expert, and Head of Export Engineering Delivery. Richard holds an HNC in Electrical Engineering from West Suffolk College and a BTEC in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology from Bedford College, alongside a strong academic background featuring 10 GCSEs, 3 A levels, and 1 AS Level in Business Studies from Hinchingbrooke School.
