Mike Janca is a Program Manager for Active Safety and ADAS at Mazda North American Operations, a position they have held since 2025. They previously served as a Senior Engineer for Active Safety and Regulatory Affairs at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, where they specialized in regulatory requirements and industry benchmarking from 2023 to 2025. Prior to that, Mike worked at Nissan Motor Corporation, contributing to ADAS performance planning and crash safety engineering from 2021 to 2023. Mike began their career as an Actuarial Analyst Co-op at Willis Towers Watson, where they managed client projects and developed analytical tools from 2012 to 2016. They hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, which they completed in 2016.
