Arjen Roodselaar is a seasoned System Architect currently employed at MatX since October 2024. Prior to this role, Arjen served as an Engineer at Oxide Computer Company from December 2019 to October 2024, where responsibilities included leading engineering efforts for the Oxide Model 0 rack switch and developing the architecture for the chassis and its networks. Previously, Arjen was a Software Engineer at Facebook from January 2012 to September 2019, contributing to the Oculus product hardware firmware team with expertise in display driver implementation and device driver development, and also held the role of Production Engineer, focusing on operational cost reduction through automation. Earlier experience includes a research internship at Thales, during which Arjen conducted a study on Disruption-Tolerant Networking in military communications. Arjen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam, completed in 2011.
