Koushik Roy has a range of work experience, starting in 1985 as a Software Engineer at Uptron. Koushik then moved on to become an Engineering Director at Cadence from 1991 to 2004. Following their time at Cadence, they worked as a Software Architect at Synopsys from 2004 to 2006. Koushik then became an R&D Director at Sequence Design from 2006 to 2007. Koushik joined Synopsys again in 2007 as a Sr. Staff Engineer until 2013. Currently, they are working at The MathWorks as a Principal Development Engineer, focused on various security aspects of web applications and integrating GitHub Enterprise with other in-house tools.
Koushik Roy holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Jadavpur University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
