Mary Elizabeth Balinda is an experienced professional in the field of human resources and organizational development, currently serving as the Head of People & Culture at Mastercard Foundation since December 2022. Prior to this role, Mary held the position of Director of People & Culture at Irembo from June 2019 to December 2022 and worked as Learning and Development Manager at KCB Bank Rwanda Ltd from August 2017 to June 2019. Mary's career began with roles such as Team Leader - Recruitment & Learning and Development at NFT Consult and Transactional Banker at Stanbic Bank Uganda. Educationally, Mary holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Gloucestershire, a PGD in Business and Management from the School of Business and Law in London, and a BAED from Makerere University.
