Jeremy Fontaine, M.A., ENV SP, currently serves as an Environmental Compliance Officer at MBTA, where responsibilities include managing environmental reviews and obtaining necessary state and federal approvals for capital construction projects. Prior experience includes roles as an Environmental Officer at Keolis Group, focusing on regulatory compliance and environmental audits, and as an Environmental Planner for the City of San Diego, minimizing environmental impacts of construction projects. Earlier in the career, Jeremy worked as a Reptile, Amphibian, and Fish Zoo Keeper at San Diego Zoo Global, where duties involved animal husbandry, breeding programs, and team management. Jeremy holds a Master’s Degree in Biology from the University of Miami, Ohio, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts.
