Mark van der Wielen is the Multi-Property Vice President at Marriott International and the General Manager of JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon, where they oversee 26 operating properties in Vietnam and a pipeline of future hotel openings. Having established the Marriott International Hotels Business Council for Vietnam and Cambodia, Mark has also led market initiatives and championed developmental strategies across various regions, including Thailand and South Korea. Their extensive career at Marriott has spanned multiple leadership roles since 2005, contributing significantly to the company's operations in Asia. Mark is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/Management at Cornell University.
