Simon Lee is an experienced pensions and investment leader, currently serving as the Head of M&S Pension Trust and Chief Investment Officer at Marks and Spencer, where they lead the executive team overseeing a closed Defined Benefit pension scheme with assets of approximately GBP 9 billion. Since 2022, Simon has also chaired the Board of Trustees for the Retail Trust Retirement & Death Benefits Scheme. Additionally, Simon has been a co-opted member of the Pre-Emption Group at the Financial Reporting Council since 2015.
