Larain Owen has been employed at Maple Leaf Strings since 2017, where they currently serve as the Director of Operations and handles Accounting & Administration. Prior to that, they worked at RDI Corporation from 1999 to 2017, where they held various roles including Associate Programmer, IT Applications; Associate Account Manager, Client Services; Senior Analyst; Director, Quality Assurance; Assistant Director, Quality Assurance; Auditor, Quality Assurance; and Sales Representative.

Larain Owen began their educational journey in 1995 when they obtained their High School Diploma from Sycamore High School, where they studied College Prep. Larain then went on to obtain a Certificate of Art and Printing from Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development in 1997 and completed their studies in 1999. In 2001, they attended the University of Cincinnati-Raymond Walters College to study Art Education. In 2007, they obtained a Certified Internet Web Professional from Tech Skills in the field of CIW Foundations.
