May Tan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate leadership and advisory roles. Previously serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited for three years, May played pivotal roles at various institutions, including Cazenove Asia, where they transformed it into a successful independent investment bank. Since retirement in 2017, May has focused on serving as an Independent Non-Executive Director for companies such as Manulife and CLP Holdings, while also co-founding ACcelerate to enhance female representation in senior leadership roles. May holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from The University of Sheffield.
