Karen Liao is a partner at Manning & Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez, Trester LLP, where they focus on the defense of health clubs, gyms, spas, and other businesses. They have a strong foundation in civil litigation, having successfully tried cases to verdict and won significant appellate decisions, including *Tan v. Hangar 18 Indoor Climbing Gym LLC* and *Morris v. Best Friends Animal Society*. Prior to their current role, Liao practiced at Silverberg Law Corporation and Kabateck Brown Kellner LLP, specializing in various litigation areas. They hold a B.S. in Sociology and Public Policy from UCLA and a Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law.
