Madison Life Insurance Company Zambia Limited (MLife) is a specialist Life insurance company. The company originally commenced operations as a Life and Pensions Division of Madison Insurance Company Zambia Limited on 1st April, 1992 which was the first private sector insurance company to enter the liberalised insurance market in Zambia 

Following an amendment to the Insurance Act which became law on 1st January, 2006 prohibiting the continued existence of composite insurance companies and providing for existence of separate specialist Life and Non Life insurance companies, Madison Company Zambia Limited was established with effect from 1 January,2006.
