Michael Burns is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Mining Finance for the Americas at Macquarie Group, a position they have held since 2006. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2004 to 2006. Michael earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Simon Fraser University, where they studied from 1998 to 2003.
