Raja Manas Macherla is an experienced engineer specializing in automated driving systems and autonomous technology, currently serving as a Senior ADAS Systems Integration Engineer at Lucid Motors since July 2025. Prior to this role, Raja worked at Toyota North America from July 2021 to July 2025 as an Automated Driving Systems Development Engineer, focusing on ADAS systems utilizing computer vision and machine learning. Raja also contributed as an Autonomous Systems Engineer for the Deep Orange 12 project at Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research, where expertise in developing a lightweight object detector and synchronizing camera systems was demonstrated. Additionally, Raja has a background as a Graduate Research Assistant at GRAIL Lab - CU-ICAR, developing an attention model for vehicle and pedestrian detection in adverse conditions.
