Shyam Kumar Palani is a versatile Engineering leader specializing in Software Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Lowe's Companies, Inc. Since 2024, Shyam has been defining strategic visions and leading a global team of engineers while focusing on performance, reliability, and automation in omnichannel retail systems. Previously, Shyam held multiple roles at Lowe's, including Senior Manager and Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development and implementation of SRE best practices and operating efficiencies. Shyam also served at JCPenney and Wipro, where they honed skills in e-commerce platform reliability and incident management. Shyam holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Anna University Chennai and completed an Advanced Leadership Program at Emory University's Goizueta Business School.
