Abigail Davis is a Professor of Practice and Co-Director at the Centre for Research in Social Policy, as well as Associate Dean for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at the School for Social Sciences and Humanities. They have been an applied social policy researcher specializing in budget standards since 2006 and lead the qualitative element of the Minimum Income Standards (MIS) research in the UK. Since 2021, Abigail has served as a Senior Research Fellow and Associate Director at Loughborough University, while also being actively involved in international projects to adapt the MIS approach globally. With a Master's in Research Methods from Loughborough University, they have dedicated their career to researching poverty, social exclusion, and living standards.
