Jan Bamford is a Professor of International Higher Education and Co-Director of the Higher Education Research Group at London Metropolitan University, where roles also include Head of Student Experience and Academic Outcomes, Principal Lecturer, and International Student Coordinator/Academic Leader since September 2003. Prior experience includes work as a Marketing Executive at The Decisions Group from 1989 to 1991. Jan Bamford holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in International Higher Education from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law from Kings College, University of London, a Master of Arts (MA) in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from London Metropolitan University, and a BA Hons in Social Sciences (Law) from the University of Hertfordshire. Additionally, Jan Bamford has achieved the status of Principal Fellow at the Higher Education Academy.
