Tako Mutnik is an AI/ML Scientist, physicist, and astrophysicist with extensive experience in machine learning and data science. Currently serving as a Lead AI Machine Learning Engineer at Lockheed Martin, Tako has been named an inventor on two non-provisional utility patents in AI. Prior positions include Senior Data Scientist at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they contributed to projects that informed the White House during the pandemic, and Data Scientist at the Institute for Astronomy, where they collaborated on NASA's ATLAS telescope project. Tako earned both a PhD and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
