James G. McEwen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas and a J.D. with honors from George Washington University National Law Center, where they contributed to the Public Contract Law Journal. Currently serving as the Director and Chief Intellectual Property Counsel for Data Rights at Lockheed Martin, they have extensive experience in intellectual property law, having previously worked as a Senior IP Attorney at Sikorsky Aircraft and in various roles at the U.S. government, including the Naval Surface Warfare Center and Naval Air Systems Command. McEwen's expertise encompasses patent prosecution, intellectual property licensing, and litigation support.
