Jake Bettis is an experienced ASIC/FPGA Design Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where they have taken on the role of lead FPGA engineer for production on critical projects, including the JAGM. They began their journey at Lockheed Martin through the College Work Experience Program and transitioned to a full-time position after graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2015. With a strong background in FPGA design, Jake has completed several significant projects, including new FPGA designs using Zynq Ultrascale+ and Igloo2 technology. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Firmware Engineer at Redwire Space and held various engineering positions at Lockheed Martin. Jake is passionate about embedded systems and continues to expand their knowledge in the field.
