Akilah Hicks currently serves as the Senior Program Officer for Supplier Diversity at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), a position held since May 2022. In this role, Akilah leads a cross-departmental initiative focused on integrating innovative financial products, small business lending, and tailored technical assistance for diverse-owned small businesses, while managing partnerships with corporations to diversify their procurement processes.
