Joanne Fisher is currently a Principal Lecturer and Apprenticeship Lead at Liverpool John Moores University, where they also serve as Programme Lead for the MSc Advanced Practice. They have a distinguished background in nursing and advanced practice, with extensive experience in curriculum development, teaching, assessment, and leadership in both apprenticeship and direct entry programmes. Joanne's clinical experience spans cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, community nursing, and general practice. Previously, they held roles at various institutions, including Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital and Countess of Chester Hospital, and have been involved in several advanced clinical and educational initiatives. Joanne is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Evaluation and Research at Lancaster University.
