John Southalan is a seasoned mediator, barrister, and academic with extensive experience in law and education. They have served as a General Editor and contributing author at LexisNexis since 2001 and hold multiple academic positions, including Clinical Professor at Curtin University and Adjunct Professor at both Murdoch University and the University of Western Australia. Additionally, John acts as an Independent Examiner for the Australian National Contact Point and is a member of the International Law Association's Business and Human Rights Committee. They earned an LLB from The University of Western Australia and have pursued further education, including an MBA from The University of Dundee.
