Lauren Benson

Natural Language Processing Research Scientist

Lauren Benson is a research scientist specializing in natural language processing at Leidos since December 2021, focusing on large language models, generative AI, and graph machine learning. Key contributions include leading research on algorithmic bias, developing a novel bias mitigation technique, and creating graph-based deep learning methods for satellite tracking. Additionally, Lauren serves as the AI Lead for a contract with the NIH’s Center of Scientific Review to enhance the peer review process through NLP methods.
