Minka Schofield, MD, MPH, FAAOA, FACS, is a healthcare delivery and quality leader currently serving as the Chief Quality and Patient Safety Officer at Lee Health. They hold a position as Professor and Vice Chair of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, having previously been an Assistant Professor in the same institution's Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery from 2008 to 2023. Minka earned their Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duke University, where they began their higher education. They are currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at The Ohio State University College of Public Health.
