Madeleine Ford is a dedicated professional with experience in sustainability, research, and retail. Currently serving as a Farm Systems Intern at Leaft Foods since November 2025, Madeleine previously led sustainability initiatives as Tētēkura with the University of Otago from February 2024 to December 2025. Additional roles include a Summer Scholar at Bioprotection Aotearoa, focusing on soil microbes and carbon, and an intern at Comvita Limited specializing in Mānuka breeding and biodiversity. Madeleine has also worked as an Ordinary and Special Votes Issuing Officer for the 2023 General election, and held positions in retail and laboratory assistance. Education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Molecular Biotechnology and Agricultural Innovation from the University of Otago and a prior high school education in New Zealand and the Netherlands.
