Kevin Ng is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in system and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a System Engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since April 2010, Kevin has played a vital role in transforming lab prototypes into a modular 1000x unit pulsed-power system while integrating it into a multi-system experimental facility. Previously, as a Mechanical Engineer, Kevin engaged in various engineering tasks across diverse projects, including laser facilities and additive manufacturing. Prior experience includes academic roles at Cal Poly State University as a Study Session Leader and Grader, as well as internships at Agilent Technologies, Stryker Endoscopy, and Aera Energy LLC, where Kevin contributed to product design, testing, and optimization. Kevin holds a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, along with additional coursework from institutions such as UCLA Extension and Stevens Institute of Technology.
