Barry Kirkendall

Director of Strategic Partnerships

Barry Kirkendall is a seasoned expert in technical program development focused on national security solutions, leveraging knowledge in electromagnetic and plasma physics modeling. They served as a Fellow at the Scowcroft Institute at Texas A&M University, and held various roles, including Associate Program Lead and Senior Physicist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where they innovated in electromagnetics and its applications in national security. Currently, Barry is the Technical Director for Space at the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). They earned a Ph.D. in Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines and have held teaching positions at Stanford University.
