Sylvie C. Lafontaine, CPA, CA, is a senior business executive with over 25 years of experience in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as the Vice President of Finance Administration at Laurentian University, they lead financial services and various administrative functions while overseeing significant transformation programs. Sylvie has held various leadership roles, including Senior Director of Decision Support at the House of Commons and Vice-President at the Standards Council of Canada, where they were instrumental in developing national and international standards. They earned their BAA in Accounting and Administration from Université du Québec en Outaouais.
