With its own design studio and production facility, it is rarity in the fashion world: a truly vertically integrated brand. 

In 1996, Lafayette 148’s founders Deirdre Quinn, Shun Yen Siu and Ida Siu had a singular vision of fashion’s future. They imagined a company that combined concept, design and production all under one roof. A place with a globally minded culture that married its Eastern and Western roots and took an inclusive approach to design, making beautiful, meticulously constructed clothing for accomplishing women everywhere. And Lafayette 148 was born. 

Today, the company employs more than 300 people in the United States, and 1,000 worldwide. In Fall 2018, Lafayette 148 moved its corporate headquarters to an expansive, sustainably renovated loft space in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, continuing its tradition of innovation in the fashion industry.
