Joseph Ramallo

Chief Customer Officer

Joseph Ramallo currently serves as Chief Customer Officer at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, a position held since November 2006, where prior roles include Senior Assistant General Manager for both Customer Service and Corporate Strategy. Ramallo's extensive experience in communications and public affairs includes serving as Deputy Communications Director for the Office of the Mayor in Los Angeles, and as Communications Director for Councilmember Antonio Villaraigosa. Previous positions also include Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for Miami-Dade County and Senior Associate Director for Brady: United Against Gun Violence. Ramallo began a career in public service as an Aide to a County Commissioner in Orange County. Educationally, Ramallo holds a B.S.C. in Political Science and Organizational Communication from the University of Miami and continues studies at American University.
