Francine Blumental de Abreu, PhD, HCLD(ABB), CC(ABB), is a board-certified laboratory director specializing in clinical molecular diagnostics and assay development. With over nine years of experience, they have held roles such as Consultant Laboratory Director at GnomDx LLC and ClearDx Labs Inc., and have contributed as a Senior Scientist at the National Cancer Institute. Francine has extensive expertise in the development and implementation of clinical tests, particularly in the fields of next-generation sequencing, oncology, and virology. They previously served as the Associate Director of the Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory at Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine and currently holds the position of Clinical Laboratory Director for Molecular Oncology at Labcorp. Francine earned a PhD in Oncogenetics from A.C. Camargo Hospital and completed post-doctoral research at Dartmouth College.
