Vidal Gonzalez, M.A., is the Assistant Director of Community Outreach Services at La Familia, where they work on the With Us Initiative funded by the California Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) to break down barriers and destigmatize mental health services for youth in Alameda County. With over two decades of experience in community-based nonprofits, Vidal has previously held roles such as Program Coordinator at SF-Marin Food Bank and Universal Youth Specialist at La Familia Counseling Center, Inc. They hold a Master of Arts in Urban Studies/Affairs from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Golden Gate University. Vidal is passionate about youth empowerment and mental health advocacy and is actively involved in interfaith coalitions and community-building efforts.
