Deborah Bernhardt is an experienced systems engineering leader with a strong background in software engineering. From 1997 to 2008, Deborah worked at ITT Space Systems Division, where they played various roles, including software engineer and department manager. They have managed interdisciplinary teams and ensured compliance with customer requirements in their current position as L3Harris Fellow, leading the NASA/NOAA JPSS Crosstrack Infrared Sounder program since 2021. Deborah earned both a BS and an MS in Computer Science from Ball State University, graduating in 1996 and 1997, respectively.
