Monica Schmidt is the Executive Producer at FOX 5 Vegas - KVVU, where they have played a pivotal role in expanding local programming from 10 to 16 hours a day and have overseen the rollout of multiple newscasts. Previously, Monica worked as a Communications Assistant at CaptionCall, where they transcribed phone calls for the hard of hearing community, and held various roles in production, including Studio Tech and Production Assistant Intern. They graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism, accompanied by a minor in Criminal Justice, from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
