Zhijie Wang is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on vision system engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager at Kulicke and Soffa since April 1997, previously holding the position of Sr. Principal Engineer in the Vision Group. Prior experience includes working as a Project Engineer in the Servo Control System Group at Beijing Research Institute of Automation from March 1991 to August 1993. Zhijie Wang holds a Ph.D. in Computer Vision and Automation in Biological Engineering from Penn State University (1994-1997), an M.Sc. in Automatic Control from Beijing Institute of Technology (1988-1991), and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Zhejiang University (1984-1988).
