Michael James is the National Leader of Sales and Use Tax at Kroll, where they currently oversee the sales and use tax practice. With over 20 years of experience in Indirect Tax, Michael has previously held leadership roles at PwC, including managing director of Indirect Tax Outsourcing. They specialized in process improvements, automation, and data transformations, utilizing tools like SQL and Alteryx. Michael holds a BS in Accounting from Shepherd University and is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Certified Information Technology Professional.
