RECYCLING AND WASTE
We handle waste from 178,000 households in the Aarhus area and run the city’s recycling centres – also the recycling centre REUSE.

DISTRICT HEATING AND ENERGY
With a district heating network with more than 2,700 km, we are delivering heat and hot water to 330,000 citizens – focusing on making district heating even more green.
At ����������ø�� Power Plant Lisbjerg and ����������ø�� Power Plant Skanderborg, we utilise waste to make electricity and district heating. Besides, we make heat of straw, chipped bark, sea water, surplus heat, and soon also geothermal energy.

����������ø�� is owned by the municipality of Aarhus with a yearly turnover of DKK 2.1 billion.
