Michael Riis is currently the Head of Competition Law at Danske Bank, a position held since 2026. Previously, Michael served as the Head of Division at Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsen from 2011 to 2026 and worked as an Assistant Attorney at Plesner from 2006 to 2007. Michael also taught EU Competition Law and Industrial Economics as an External Lecturer at Copenhagen Business School between 2011 and 2016. Michael earned a Master's degree in Law from the University of Copenhagen, completing it in 2005.
