David Bloomfield is a UK qualified Solicitor with over 25 years of experience in the music industry. Bloomfield currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Legal & Business Affairs at Kobalt Music. Previously, they held numerous key positions including Head of Legal & Business Affairs at Imagem Music, where they oversaw significant catalog acquisitions, and roles at notable companies such as Sony Music and Universal Music Group. Bloomfield also served as a Compliance Officer at ITV Granada and has been a Legal and Business Affairs Consultant since 2015, advising various clients in the music sector. They earned an LLB (Hons) in Law from The Nottingham Trent University and completed the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School.
