Lance C. Dial is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the asset management sector. Currently a partner at K&L Gates since May 2023, Lance re-joined the firm’s asset management group after nearly fifteen years of diverse roles in the industry. Prior to this, Lance served as a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP from October 2021 to May 2023, where skills in large law firm dynamics were honed. At Wellington Management, from January 2013 to September 2021, Lance held the position of Managing Director and Counsel, supporting client-facing business teams and managing complex regulatory projects. Previous experience also includes a role as Vice President & Counsel at State Street Global Advisors from December 2007 to January 2013, and an early career at K&L Gates starting as an Associate in June 2005. Lance holds a JD from Boston University School of Law and an MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, complemented by a BA in History from The University of Georgia.
