David Skillman is a Partner at K&L Gates LLP, where they counsel clients on complex challenges related to federal tax, international trade, and clean energy. Previously, Skillman served as a Managing Director at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP after a significant tenure as Deputy Chief of Staff and Counsel to Congressman Earl Blumenauer in the U.S. House of Representatives. Skillman began their career as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Commerce. They earned a BA in History from Colorado College and a JD from the University of Oregon School of Law.
