Tala Al Shalakhti is a Fellow Physician in Pediatric Hematology Oncology at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, a position held since September 2023. Prior experience includes a Pediatric Resident role at King Abdullah University Hospital from July 2018 to June 2023, as well as an Internship as a Doctor. In June 2018, Tala participated in the 68th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting focused on Physiology and Medicine, connecting with numerous Nobel laureates and young scientists. Additional educational experiences include a pediatric emergency medicine elective at the University of Toronto in July 2017 and participation in a civic engagement program at Bard College in June 2016. Tala earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology between 2012 and 2018, following studies at Jawharat Al-Manara schools from 2007 to 2012.
