Trisha Holmes Drape has over two decades of experience in communications, writing, and management across various organizations. At The Kansas City Star, Drape served as a Senior Feature Writer and Editor for special publications from August 1996 to August 2001. Following this role, Drape owned Communications Café, providing freelance writing and public relations services from December 2005 to November 2011. Drape further advanced to become the Chief Operating Officer at CBG between February 2015 and October 2017, overseeing day-to-day operations and managing a 17-member team. Drape also held significant positions at the Aircraft Electronics Association as Director of Communications and Executive Editor of Avionics News, and at Knight Ridder as Executive Editor for the Lee's Summit Journal. From November 2011 to February 2015, Drape was the Executive Director for Downtown Lee's Summit Main Street. Currently, Drape is involved with the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, holding multiple titles including Vice President of Development.
