Leesel F. is an experienced member of various professional organizations focused on promoting equity and representation in technology and engineering. Currently a Brilliant Black Minds Student Member at Karat, and a member of the National Society of Black Engineers and ColorStack, Leesel has held multiple fellowship positions at Bloomberg, including the Engineering Accelerator Fellow and participation in initiatives like Discover Bloomberg: Women in Data Forum. As an IGNITE Fellow and AVID Tutor with Teach For America, Leesel works to expand opportunities for underrepresented students. Leadership roles include serving as the Black Wings Affinity Group Leader within Rewriting the Code and involvement in activities related to cybersecurity and privacy.
