Tanima Biswas, PhD, serves as the Global Account Manager for Functional Ingredients at Kameda Seika Co Ltd since April 2021, overseeing global B2B marketing efforts. Prior to this role, Tanima held various positions at the Science Farm-Kumamoto University Joint Research Lab from April 2019 to April 2021, including Global Project Coordinator and Postdoctoral Researcher, focusing on synthetic organic chemistry and molecular biology, specifically on cellular assays and the TGF-b signaling pathway. Tanima's postdoctoral research at Kumamoto University from January 2017 to March 2019 involved synthesizing small histidine-pyridine-histidine molecules and their derivatives for evaluating collagen suppression activities. Academically, Tanima earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Waseda University (2012-2016), conducted research at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology as a Visiting Researcher, and holds an MS in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Kalyani.
