Scott Young, MD, is the Executive Director at the Care Management Institute (CMI) at Kaiser Permanente, where they lead teams in delivering innovative, high-quality, evidence-based care programs for the organization, which serves 12 million members. Dr. Young has held various significant roles, including Flight Surgeon in the US Navy, Residency Faculty at Intermountain Healthcare, and Health Policy Fellow at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Currently, Dr. Young is a lecturer at the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine and is enrolled in the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School. They are also active on multiple impactful boards and workgroups, including the Garfield Memorial Fund and the KP National Quality Committee.
