Luxmmi Varathan is the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at JPMorgan Chase, a position held since 2023. Prior to this, Luxmmi served as a Senior Policy Adviser on Financial Technologies at HM Treasury from 2020 to 2023, where they focused on areas such as cryptoassets and AI. Luxmmi also held various policy adviser roles at HM Treasury, including positions related to vaccines spending and economic regulation. Earlier in their career, Luxmmi completed a Micro-Fellowship at WPP and worked as a Research and Data Executive at Rare Recruitment. Luxmmi earned an MBiochem in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford in 2015.
